Info about the Grand Canyon

Hi ladies, we are planning a trip to the Grand Canyon for next year, and wondered if any of you had suggestions about where to stay, the weather in spring/summer, and we were interested in the trip down the canyon on the donkeys, and then spend night down there. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks.
