Info about Spokane Washington requested

We will be coming to Spokane Washington, in June. Yes, I am a preplanner, but I really want some info. It will be a convention so we will be kept busy but I am interested in such things as places to eat, places to see and also info about the airport. I have to change planes in either Los Vegas or Denver, leaving from Baltimore. Cannot seem to pick a good flight plan since there are no through flights. Also weather patterns in the area for late June... rain???
