I'm totally turned off by all the reviews being done by influencers.  I'm guessing that they certainly don't need my review.  I'm sure QVC won't miss my reviews, since I didn't do a whole lot of reviews anyway.

Me too. I find them to be biased.

That's their job.  Influencers are sales reps.

@KrimpetteHow do I know if a review I'm reading on QVC.com has been written by an influencer? Do you mean an influencer from Youtube, TikTok or Instagram? I must be missing something.

@shoesnbags I've never noticed where the influencer is from.

@shoesnbags  I was unable to continue with my post when I tried to edit. I wanted to add that as soon as I see there are reviews from innfluencers on an item I'm looking at, I move on to something else.

I thought there was a thread the other day where someone was complaining that only people who had paid for an item could now review.  I didn't read the thread, but I assume they were complaining that they bought an item for someone else (bill to/ship to) and the person shipped to couldn't review the item.

Are influencers actually shopping at QVC?  Enquiring minds.

@Krimpette

I must not have been clear - sorry.  What I'm asking is how do you know a review that you're reading has been written by an influencer?   What tips you off?  I mean, it isn't signed "Sally Smith, Influencer".  So how do you know when you read it?

Are the review issues from influencers or from the product's actual website?   Personally I don't mind either.

 I have actually found on Sephora that even when someone gets a sample or the product free for their opinion, they can be brutally honest.

@Tori3569

I've seen those kinds of reviews on a number of websites, too.  But the OP specifically mentioned QVC so that what confused me.  I've never seen a QVC review that said someone received a product for free.
