I refuse to buy a Keurig. I don't care how good (supposedly) the coffee is.

It's just totally environmentally irresponsible.

OH, brother, now I have heard it all.... I love my Keurig and it is not environmentally irresponsible!

If you are buying the k-cups, they are not recyclable.

I guess we're pretentious, unsanitary and horrible people. I buy bottled water, we refill them using filtered water from the fridge, and we use K-cups.

The empty bottles go into a plastic shopping bag and the lawn service guys pick it up weekly. They can have the deposit.

I very rarely buy bottled water. I have the huge Zero water dispenser that I keep in my fridge & I use a 75 oz. BPA free water bottle that I got at Meijer, filling it from my Zero water pitcher. I carry that around with me.

There is nothing like it to wake up and in a minute your are sipping a cafe mocha or a caramel coffee. It beats starbucks in taste and price by a long shot.

We do the same so I guess we are also pretentious, unsanitary and horrible people.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

And I agree with Moxie....there is nothing quite like a hot cup of coffee from our Keurig.

Bottled water can be pretentious. LOL.

A friend of mine takes a bottle of Fiji when she goes out to look ""cool."".

Save money-- get one bottle of Fiji and then refill it from your tap!

Re: In case you didn't know this

I don't buy bottled water. Since we have what I consider a good filtering system just bought myself a few bottles of my own to take along with me wherever I go. Not really into this disposable bottle or plastic thing.

We have well water, so we use a Birkey water filtration system to filter the minerals from our tap water.
