It's from a pod of Orcas just off San Juan Islands.  Which is off the coast of Washington State.  This is a threatened group of Orcas and it's good to see a baby surviving.  Cute little guy   It's identified as J56.  Doesn't have a name yet.  All baby Orcas have a pinkish orange coloring to them.  It disappears when they get older.

It's adorable, as are babies of most species, but, orcas aren't exactly the sweetest animals. 😃

OMG....mother orcas are SUPER protective.  This little one is learning to swim on it's own. Orcas have no predators.  Orcas are on top of the food chain.  All sharks fear them.  When they are near, the sharks disappear.  If you are in the water, and orcas are near.....there won't be any sharks.
