To be announced this afternoon at 3PM by our governor.

I'm wondering if this will be USA wide soon?
There is no telling how many positive tests there would be if there were enough testing kits.

But even if everyone were tested, and the ones that were negative got it later, would universal testing help? I have been watching the press conferences but have never heard this mentioned.

I'm from Southern Illinois originally, and still have a soft spot for that state even though I've been in Maryland long enough to call it my home.
I was born in East St. Louis when it was a thriving community.
Praying for all of us.

Chicago sure will look different. I'm sure their hospitals must be going crazy.
And we have no idea how long this will go on.

I am in central Illinois, born and raised here. My great grandfather came here directly from Germany in the 1860's.
Mr. 4 kitties and I have been staying in for about a week now. Thankful I keep a pantry with enough to get us through!

There was an interesting report on a place in Italy where they tested everyone in the town. They isolated those that came back positive. They then tested again a bit later and those that came back positive were also isolated. By doing this they were able to stop the spread. i think the town had a population of around 3300.Google Vo, Italy testing.
Not sure it’s feasible to do on a larger scale.

@RetRN Chicago has looked "different" for the past week. I'm in downtown and it looks like a sci fi movie--almost entirely empty.

@kaydee50, I can't even imagine, I just feel so bad for everyone.
