Just passing this info on.

This Sunday only, Target is selling their gift cards for a 10% discount.  Maximum purchase is $300 (cost would be $270).

Only Target gift cards are on sale.  It doesn't apply to other retailers gift cards, sold at Target.

Remember the few years that QVC did a one day offer for a discounted QVC gift card?  That was terrific.  I wish they'd do it again.

In any case, I'll be taking advantage of the Target deal.  It's a good deal.  I shop at Target all the time.  I'll take that free money.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: If you're a Target shopper

Thank you @gidgetgh.  I love Target!  [Unfortunately] there's one attached to the building complex where my office building is located.  A lot of us power walk there a couple of times a day to counter sitting at our desks all day -- and to check out what's new. Smiley Happy

Re: If you're a Target shopper

I always give a wrapped gift at Christmas but I also like to tuck in a gift card as well.

I'll check it out!

Re: If you're a Target shopper

Kind of related....

I went to Target this morning to use the 20% off total sale coupon that I got by shopping there on Black Friday.

I did a stock up trip. They had specials on Charmin and Bounty that gave you back gift cards with purchase so I took advantage of those. Bought hot chocolate and coffee for my husband, batteries, cosmetic sponges, tape, Dixie Cups, stuff like that.

My total came to over $200 (yikes!).

Then I used my 20% off coupon and saved just under $50 with that.

Then I used my Target debit card and saved an additional $9.50.

Then, because I’d done the Bounty and Charmin deal, they gave me two $10 Target gift cards.

With all that and sale savings, my receipt shows that I saved $86 on today’s trip. I was thrilled as everything I bought are things we use.

Re: If you're a Target shopper

I'm not the biggest Target shopper in the world but just a little story as many people think Walmart is cheaper.

I was looking for a particular toy and was out shopping Monday.  I happened to be in WM and the toy was $19.97.  For the heck of it, I check the Target site to see if they had it.  With the 15% off they were doing for Cyber Monday and my 5% Red Card savings, I ordered the toy from Target for a total of $10.63.  Half of what I would have paid at WM after tax.

It pays to do a quick price check.  I had also checked Amazon.  It was more money there as well.

I agree. You save pennies at WalMart over Target. Factor in cartwheel and Target red card and that equals me not shopping at WM.
