Glad you explained, biancardi.  I was wondering.  Glad you are still around.

My Avatar is my senior puppy, Zuma.  Previously I had her brother, Ripper.  They are 14 and a half and not doing all that great.  We are cherishing every day they are still with us.

I enjoy seeing everyone's and especially the explanations.  I do like this feature.

Hi b!  Great thread, I love reading about everyone's avatars.

I  chose a picture of my beloved Beau I lost around 3 years ago. Miss him terribly.  He was my shadow and some days I still look down and wonder why he isn't there.

My first avatar was of my precious little Millie Grace who passed on to the Rainbow Bridge this past May. The pic was sideways and in an oval and I couldn't change it no matter how hard I tried. So since I like American Girl dolls I picked out one that closely resembles me!

Oh pitdakota, your Beau looks a lot like my Chloe.  I lost her in January and I still sometimes wonder where she is.  She was the love of my life from the time they placed her in my hands (she was so tiny!).

He was a very handsome boy and I know a wonderful companion.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Mine is a picture of the gulf coast, it's what I see when I sit on my front porch. Beautiful huh, now don't none of ya be jealous, we have hurricanes to deal with. Not any fun. 

I really enjoy all the pictures of everyones little furbabies. How sweet.

Thank you mtc!  They do look so much alike don't they?  Maybe they were brother and sister!!   I am sorry about the loss of Chloe as well.   She was such a cutie and I know how hard it is.  Hang in there.
