My definition of this summer, of this whole time, is a mixed one.  As an introvert and constant reader, I welcomed the time to not feeling pressured to be anywhere  -

Living alone, I also found out I could "survive" without going out and seeing people - the telephone has proven itself to be godsend i- I discovered the ease of ordering anything I need online - 

Being retired,  the anxiety of having to go to work is nonexistent - 

The ongoing situation showed me that I was able to keep  myself from being downcast or depressed -  I am truly grateful for everything, every single day.

Therefore, my one word for this time is: revelatory.
