Re: If you got a chance to travel to anywhere, what would you like to see?

I always wanted to see Ireland, and almost got to go. I always thought I might not want to leave lol!

My sister and daughter have been.

And I feel lucky too as I traveled a lot when I was younger, most of the US including Hawaii also Japan (was in a band and singing group with a large organization) but I always wanted to see Montana-so beautiful and though I've seen most states around Tennessee, never got to go there.

And then I would want to go back to Cape May Point where I spent most summers. It will always feel like part of home.

I love the land of West Virginia-so beautful!

I don't like to travel now at all though and am very happy to stay home but have to travel to see my mother and other children. I always say moms would be happy if all their children lived in the same state!

Reading these threads is a little like traveling around the world!

My first pick would be the outback of Australia, Ireland, Egypt. I have been to Germany, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Netherlands, they are all fascinating. So many places, so little time.

I was just in Prague and around and about the Czech Republic.  It is a beautiful country.  I hope you get a chance to visit.

We love to travel.  I would love to see the Pacific Northeest.  That's one region we've never been to.   Or a ranch in Wyoming - something like that

We only travel within the United States.

What an interesting thread!  Of places I've not seen but would like to see?

I would like to see Lake Louise in western Canada, to see Hawaii and Alaska (both so beautiful in such different ways), and to tour parts of Asia I have hesitated to visit as a solo traveler: China, Thailand, and India.

@Burnsite

I too have been fortunate to visit many countries.  My bucket list is similar to yours - China the great wall, and the terracotta warriors, Thailand, and Cambodia.

I have been to India, lovely people, land, and culture.  However, prepare for grinding poverty the likes of which I, at least, have seen no where else.

Hope we both make it to our destinations!
