I would buy a Keurig for a friend who has always wanted one for her little training studio.

Funny you should ask!  This Memorial Day I decided to rest and study for my RE license. Then I went for a walk. Low and behold I looked down and saw something that resembled money.  I picked it up and it was $200 dollar bills! I thought they were fake so i put them in my pocket and finished my walk.

A few day later I went to the bank and withdrew some cash, which included a few hundred dollar bills.  I remembered the money I found and compared the bills and they were real!

I found 2 $100 dollar bills! I put them in an envelope and thy're still there!

I find the question odd.

I wouldn't have to keep it and buy something for myself.  There are plenty of places to donate either the $ or donate items purchased with the $.

So the question really is would you keep it and what would you buy or would you use it/give it away.

My answer would be purchase those airline compliant toiletries and donate to a shelter aksing for such items.  You can get a lot for $100.

While I would prefer to donate to an animal shelter, paying attention to what the OP said "had to buy something for yourself"

May-be some shrubs or plants

Go out with DH and eat lobster

Hire someone to power wash my driveway

Walk around a farmers' market and buy a little bit of everything, yum

No question - I would donate it to a local animal shelter to defray their medical costs for these sweet animals.

If I found $100, I darn sure would not give it someone else.  I'd go to Sephora and buy some new lipstick and nail polishes in summer colors.
