Re: If you could "LOVE" inananimate objects, what would they be?

I dearly love and cherish all the heirlooms that belonged to members of my family. Each one brings with it a memory of my childhood, the person the things belonged to, and the passing of the years as time progressed. The very fact that the departed touched those things makes them so very special to me. Cut glass, china pieces, old Bibles, pictures of course, even my grandmother's braids after she cut off her long hair for the first time.

My all white handmade Christmas Village made by my mother with a white church with stained glass windows that winds up and plays O Holy Night.

A faux Alexandrite ring set in a lot of gold that my grandmother passed down to me. It is about 5 carats. I was offered four hundred dollars for it many years ago by an antique dealer... but I would never part with it.

My bathtub and my back massager!
