Re: If you could live anywhere, where would you live? And where would your 2nd home be?!

If I could live anywhere it would be the on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.   We've gone there many times on vacation and I just love it.  It's really where I feel the most relaxed and at peace.

The place where I would have a 2nd home would probably be in Southern, CA.

In the Marina del rey area of Southern California.  Specifically Cameo Shores.  This is a community built on cliffs overlooking (front vew & from side views) the Pacific ocean.  It is techniclally one of the most expensive neighborhoods to live in the U.S. It's part of Newport Beach.   Homes average in price from $9 million up

Typical home there

@songbird   Do you mean Corona del Mar?  Marina Del Rey is just north of LAX, between Westchester & Venice/Santa Monica & there are no cliffs there, it's pretty flat.  (I grew up near there)

If I could live anywhere ... Sorrento!  I am lucky to have visited there 2 times.  Last year, I chaperoned a trip of 40 high schoolers.  We started in Florence, then to Rome, then to Sorrento and visited Capri and the Amalfi coast.  I absolutely love southern Italy.  But I also love Venice.Woman Very Happy

I loved reading everyone's answers.

For my 2nd home, it would be a toss up between Cape May, NJ or Paris or Santa Barbara or Key West.  How's that for a wide spectrum??

Gotta remember to buy that lottery ticket tomorrow!

A beach house at the Jersey Shore ...and I'd love a home in St. Maarten or Italy on the beach.

But reality is to live 6 months at Jersey shore and live here in FL (just closer to beach) as I do now.

I'm living my dream. And we actually moved into our second home. I love where I live now that we retired here. Every day I have to pinch myself. Heart

We couldn't have picked a better spot to live then right where we are, Maine coast.  Though we love traveling, we love coming back home. No place is better. 4 seasons,(love our Winters) beautiful beaches, lighthouses, great food.  Great outdoor activites, entertainment.  Now that we are retired we don't have any plans to leave the area. No moving South for us.

Oh, a 2nd home would be in the White Mountains in NH.
