@itiswhatitis

I went to a Prince thing on April 1st at the Majestic Cafe in downtown Detroit.  It's basically kicked off a monthly gathering with a DJ.  The music was playing and us old skoolers started a Soul Train dance line.  Some of the people there didn't know what to do.  I looked at another lady in my age range (50's) and said, clearly these folks never seen Soul Train.  I had to tell them, this is your time to shine, dance!  Some were shy and wouldn't do it.  I was not, especially after 2 cocktails, lol.

@Bird mama reminiscing on old times and the fun we used to have keeps me young.  I'm grateful that we still have access to all music from years gone by.

I get my dance on in the aisles of drugstores or super markets playing something I remember.  Don't let me start singing, cause I'll run everyone out of the store......LOL.

@Mz iMac

I remember her.  The soul train dancers taught this white girl how to dance.

I liked her too.  I remember Verdine (sp) but haven't seen any good clips with her in them @Mz iMac
