These two incidents aren't even related, one being a serious violation of labor law, and the other a comment about a room in a building. When it comes to importance, surely a sensible, objective person, even a Paula Deen fan, can see the difference. In degree of seriousness, they're not even in the same ballpark. I have no idea what Martha has to do with either of the other two women. She was found guilty of violating securities regulations and served a prison sentence and is back in business. So what?
Do you truly believe that by constantly whining "but what about Joan?" you've going to actually lessen the severity of Paula's poor management and violations of the Civil Rights Act? Joan did not denigrate anyone, did not make a single comment about the Cleveland women. She simply noted the size of a room in the house. What pray tell, is so inflammatory about that? Knock off the Paula/Joan comparisons. They do not flatter the power of logic of the people making them.
Well said.

have you all not heard what JR said about Mr. & Mrs. O?
JR is on a rampage to promote her book and she doesn't care how low to go to do it.

What she said about the O's isn't much different from what has said by members of Congress, state and national party leaders. It's rather tame by comparison.
