If Your Posts Are Not Posting....

I had trouble posting with the new forum. I would log in, type up my post, hit the submit button and get the message "Success, click to go to your post". But when I clicked on it, or came out of the thread to look at my post it wasn't there.  But my post count would go up to reflect the post!

 

I called QVC this morning spoke to 3 different people who couldn't help me and said there is no support for the Community Forum. Okay...

 

What I did is change my nickname. I noticed yesterday before I logged in that my name on the Forum in prior posts showed "lainey1" instead of "lainey". So today I changed my nickname to "lainey1" and that fixed the problem.

 

I'm passing this on because I can't beleive I'm the only person this has happened to. So if you are having trouble posting your posts, try logging into QVC and changing the nickname you use for the Forum and hopefully that will fix your problem.

How do you change your nickname? I'd like to shorten mine a little so that it doesn't print over two lines.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

At the very top of the page where it says "My Account", click on that for the dropdown box.

 

~ Click on my Account

~ Go to the third item down, Communication Preferences

~ Third item down is "my nickname"

~ click on that and change your name
