My heart goes out to all, you and your families stay safe. We had our first significant snowfall of the season here in Missouri a few days ago, 2 inches and I am already done with winter. One small snowfall a winter is enough for me ! Be careful out there !

Thanks for your kind post. I live in Virginia where the blizzard is suppose to start tomorrow, Friday afternoon after 1 pm. I survived going to the grocery store last night, very crowded. I have food in the pantry and full tank of fuel in my vehicle. Now it is just the waiting game. It will be interesting to see how much snow we get in Virginia.

Why thank you for thinking of us! What a thoughtful post! We are expecting the blizzard to start here in Philly sometime Friday night. I don't mind that we will be getting snow; it's the frigid temps and gusty winds that I dislike. At least it's hitting us over a week-end. Things shouldn't be too bad for people heading back to work on Monday.

Earlier today the news said one model was showing 1.7" and another was showing 17". Well, that's quite a margin of error! Here's hoping we all get the minimum prediction ![]()

Thank you for the kind thoughts.
We are starting to have ice flurries and will have inches of accumulation for the next few days - black ice.
I've only seen real, not icy, snow fall here once in my life.
Have a whole house generator thank goodness!

Thank you for thinking of us! We're supposed to get a little over a foot. I grew up in the South, so I'm not crazy about winter. We're all ready to hunker down, and we have plenty of food - both people and kitty! My one concern is the power. We lose power very frequently, and I am hoping this won't happen!
Everyone else stay safe and warm too! ![]()

Thanks everybody. I need this storm like I need a tooth pulled, lol. I'm in this bulleye of a blizzard in Maryland for the most snow, 30 plus inches. Not a happy camper at this point. Wanted to see snow, but not this much. At this rate, I'll be back to work by August I hope hahahahahaha. Just hope my roof holds up.

Thanks to all of you who are concerned. It is very cold now, about 19 degrees, with winds gusting at 35 mph. Ice and snow already on the ground, began about 2 hours ago. Ice first, snow now.
I don't live in the north but am glad right now that I don't. Don't mind snow but solid ice is BAD !!!
Everyone be very careful today, and get those Frostguard covers out if you aren't under cover !
