Re: If You Have Three Months. . .

Thank you everyone! I really enjoyed reading all of your posts and thinking about the places you would go!

@Shanus - Memories of Paris! I had so much fun! My junior year I went on a study tour before we got to Grenoble, where I spent a semester. We had a week in Paris coming, and two weeks after. I stayed near Les Invalides. My favorite thing to do was sit at our favorite cafe and people watch.  I could relate to almost everything you talked about. The stories I could tell! My one roommate dropped out and stayed to marry a banker she met in Nice. We left all of our household things with her. It unfortunately didn't work out, so a year later she was back home.

@CANDLEQUEEN - You mentioned Switzerland. My paternal grandfather came from there as a young man. My maiden name is unusual. I went to Geneva (like I mentioned before, we hitchhiked) and copied pages of names for my grandmother. My grandfather died when my father was a teenager, but my grandmother recognized some of the names. It was really something seeing so many with the same last name as mine! LOL!  Smiley Happy

@beach-mom I didn't mention Switzerland, but I love your story! I would like to however go there, it looks absolutely stunning!

Re: If You Have Three Months. . .

Foreign travel would be too stressful at this point and I would not leave my old dog.

I would like an old CA Spanish style home overlooking the Monterey Bay where the sea otters hang out.  It's a beautiful stretch of coastline.

@CANDLEQUEEN - I'm sorry! It was @PA Mom-mom who mentioned Switzerland!

All of these stories are great, and although I don't get there much, I love Disney World!

I've never been on a cruise. Like your husband, DH is not interested.  Smiley Wink

Re: If You Have Three Months. . .

I would spend most of the time traveling around the U.S. to see every state. I would love to see all the National Parks.

If there was any time remaining, I would like to see parts of Europe and Africa.

I would go to Italy, and New Zealand and divide the time between the two!

Well, I’ve traveled a lot so my bucket list is done. I’d pass it on to someone else who maybe can’t afford to travel right now & would like to do so

I would go back to my friends cottage on Marthas Vineyard, it was the best vacation of our lives
