I am reading some people here  are complaining how much money it is to use Turbo Tax or Tax Act, but really if you call and Accountant or CPA you are going to pay  right off the bat $200.00 or more. That's what I  used to do years ago and we didn't  have anything difficult back then so that's when I looked into  Turbo Tax and will happily  pay the $40.00 or what ever because it is still very inexpensive compaired to having it done professionally. My sister in law pays $500.00 to have her taxes done and she doesn't have any  difficult items to report. I would never pay that much! I have heard even H&R is very expensive.

Haven't done our own taxes in decades.  Wouldn't change how UNLESS the tax code was so simple that all I had toi do was write down our income and calulate based on that alone.
