We brought home a rescue bunny about 4 months ago and have fallen in love with her and she has adjusted very well but sure is a handful!
We had no intentions of getting another bunny but we were at a garage sale on Friday morning and they had a bunny that they were trying to give away. Poor thing was filthy dirty and her nails were way overgrown. She doesn't even have a name! The thought did not occur to us to take her home but after we left her I couldn't stop thinking about the way she was being neglected. They also had 5 dogs and some cats. She said that they just could not take care of her so they did not want her. We mentioned to her about taking her to a local no-kill rescue center but she said that she does not have the time to do it. It seems to us that she just did not want to bother.
Anyway, we decided that if she was still there on Saturday we would pick her up and take her there ourselves. On the way over to the rescue my heartstrings were just tugging at the thought of never seeing her again.
I asked dh if we could bring her home and just see if we could work it out with her. If it didn't work out we could take her to the rescue at another time.
So that is what we did. We already had a cage and other supplies for her. She is all set up in her new home. She is a little scared still because at her other home the dogs were barking at her. I think once she gets past being scared and learns that she can trust us she will be fine. I think she is going to be a sweetie! I was holding her on my lap last night and she was very calm.
We have a few ideas for names but thought it would be fun to get other ideas also.
Anyway, I have to get ready for church now, but will be back later this afternoon.

Here are my two cents:
de venta= for sale in Spanish
She could be named in Spanish for her origin and her color (white)-
Blanca de la venta, like Oscar de la Renta.
