Ideas for a get well gift

My friends 29 year old daughter was in a car wreck on May 1. She has numerous fractures and will be in a physical therapy rehab unit for three months. She has a long row to hoe and she is pretty depressed. she was suppose to graduate from college with a degree in elementry ed on 5-14-2011. She is a single mom and I want to do something nice and send her a gift. I already have a journal, pens, chap stick, assorst of magazines, nail files and polish does anyone have any other suggestions. she lives in another state from me so I can't do anything physically for her. Help?
