......Yes.   and there still is.  Of course, they would claim responsibility.  That's a no brainer.  But there is no proof of that.  I'm pretty sure they don't carry membership cards.   They aren't the only terrorist group out there.

And, we, the USA, have rolled out the welcome mat to 60,000 Syrian refugees, mostly, if not all are young men.  Obviously, at least some of them are sympathetic to terrorism, if not members of ISIS itself.  We have no way of checking the backgrounds of these individuals; they  will just move in and disappear.  Someday, in the future, we'll have an attack greater than what happened in Paris.  Why are we allowing this?

Re: ISIS taking "credit" for Paris attacks

I read a very thoughtful quote last night with regard to the refugees flooding Europe - we now know why they're running away - the horror that is Syria is visiting France.

Yes, to whomever  said most wars have been fought in the name of religion, it'sa well known fact.

Re: ISIS taking "credit" for Paris attacks

The free world is in a war to protect the values we hold dear. My French friends have been warning me for years that these terrorists only want to kill and destroy. They've even destroyed thousand+ year old historic sites of the Muslim religion. They are radical monsters with whom no one can negotiate. They live by death and killing and don't care if they die.

There was a very interesting article in the NY Times several months ago. It was written by Thomas Friedman. His article basically tells President Obama and others that they must call these monsters by what they are, Islamic terrorists. They cannot be looked at as if they were common criminals despite their lawlessness. Until world leaders call these monstrous terrorists by what they are, we won't get much further in our fight against them.

It makes no sense that the refugees, who are dying in overcrowded boats, seeing their children drown, who are RUNNING FROM Isis, would be sympathetic TO Isis.  Makes no sense at all.

They also claimed responsibility for the downed plane full of Russian citizens. I guess as terrorists groups go, it could have been ISIS or Al Quaeda. among others. They are all equally destructive.

This why police forces had to enter the Bataclan asap - there was no negotiation.  The end game was to kill as many people as possible and that is all.
