THe last time I ate at IHOP was16 years ago. The food was horrible. The service was the WORST. First time I refused to tip.

NEVER went back to one because....it was that bad it turned me completely off the place.

The only IHOP near me would have to change far more than its name to entice me. It's really tough for chains to compete effectively when there are so many good local choices where I live.

@KingstonsMom. We don’t have a restaurant near us, but ate in one while out of town. The food was sub-par and the place was filthy. Could the B be for B A R F?

Remember when KFC was Kentucky Fried Chicken? Same menu, different name to try to make you forget you're eating fried foods.

I have a feeling I'll be even less enthused with the reason behind IHOP's new name change.

I think the change to a lower case b is significant. I just not know what.

I do not think it is breakfast, as that seems too limiting to me.

Hob makes me think of the word hobble, not a word you want associated with food. People know it as ihop & the name change isn't going to matter, it's still going to be called ihop...what a silly waste of money.
