IF YOUR FORUM PAGE IS BOUNCING....

Since this seems to be happening to some and not others..... it may be a Browser issue.

My IT/NETWORKING son recommends:

Make sure you have the latest version of your default browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.)

Try Google Chrome (www.google.com/chrome)

If problem still persists:  Restart your computer.

If problem still persists, try resetting your browser settings.

For IE:

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab>Reset Settings (Optional: Delete personal settings, this will delete your history, cache internet files, etc.)

For Firefox:

Go to Menu>click help>troubleshooting information>click Reset Firefox (This will reset firefox back to default)

For Chrome:

Go to Menu>settings>advanced settings>reset settings (this will reset chrome to default)

If problem still persists:

Try updating to the latest verson of Java/Flash

I hope this helps!  Woman LOL

Thanks Q4U but some of us tried those things
and it didn't help, it's something about the boards
not our computers iPads and phones.

I've never had any problems with bouncing pages, but have read a few complaints here.

Perhaps the reason I have been so lucky is because I already am doing all that you suggested, and I do use Google Chrome, and I do everything else you stated.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge with those who were being so frustrated by this problem and had no idea how to correct it.

Very nice of you !  Heart

@Q4u You sure are lucky to have an IT expert in the family! That was nice of you and him to share some tips. Smiley Happy

Please let us know if he has any suggestions for us iPad Safari users.

I did a lot of this earlier, and nope, still bounces.  This is a forum problem

It's kind of those making suggestions, but the song remains the same.  We should not have to virtually reconfigure our computers to be compatible with QVC's website antics.  It really is time for them to accommodate their customers rather than the other way around.

Re: IF YOUR FORUM PAGE IS BOUNCING....

I have had some health issues that requires me to stay in quite a bit the last few months.  I am on the internet a lot.  I visit dozens and dozens of sites, as well as information sites.  I have never had this problem anywhere else, never.  Only here.

Re: IF YOUR FORUM PAGE IS BOUNCING....

My son is an IT rep also. But I surely wouldn't bother him with my little problem with the Q message boards. I only have the bouncing page when I first arrive on that page. It bounces exactly 3 times then stops. I surf the net a lot and never have this problem anywhere else. Its just the Q's problem. I'm surely not going to adjust all my setting just because one site has its own problems. Woman Happy
