Why in the name of COMMON SENSE did they think that anything listed under Public Statistics wouldn't flip people out????

I don't like the fact that it shows up as being 'public' either. Makes me very nervous.

I'm wondering that same thing. My instincts tell me that it's something about integrating your post into social media - or something like that, of which I have little to no familiarity.

Now days it seems like everything has to be attached to everything else, or peoples' pointy little heads will explode. heh

I noticed that this morning, and it seems that if I am not logged in, my email is not visible. But it is visible (but I guess only to me) when I am logged in. So it's kind of a "private view" labeled as a "public view" -- a bit confusing.
