Sometimes people put things in their titles that I find really upsetting, usually because they remind me of stuff I'm trying not to think about at the moment, and it's hard to avoid when it keeps getting pushed to the top. I'm not saying anyone should refrain from posting what they want -- I just think it would be really helpful if we could choose to ignore a single thread so that it didn't show up in the list at all. Plus, we could have the option of ignoring the older nad longer threads that constantly pop up at the top but that we never read or participate in. (Not that I'm knocking them, I just don't know anything about those subjects.) It would make it easier to see what's new at a glance and find things that interest us.
