It DOES matter if hosts are constantly using the same annoying phrases. If people were to keep changing the channel due to repetitious host phrases, not good for QVC sales. We may like the particular host a lot and accept the annoying phrases, but not everyone does, especially QVC newcomers who don’t know them well enough yet to like them a lot.

@mamaslittlepotato Exactly.  Also, this is her job, so "here's the thing." Don't we all (or most of us) want to improve in our job performance?  I think stuff like this should be pointed out to Mary Beth.  Maybe it has.  Maybe she is so set in her ways that she can not change.

They should not say any phrases at all. The only words should be ones directly describing the product and the price. No friendly banter, etc. just plain business. When they come on they can say My name is Mary Beth and I welcome you to the show.  That's it.

The only issue I have is with "um" and "you guys," and "like," cannot listen to someone who constantly says um.

Let's just celebrate each other as women, we all need a positive stroke and a kind word. Too much bitterness and sadness in our life these days!🙏🎈

@luvmyteddy4  well they need to change because  younger people are not going to listen this C#$p

@Leggett28  The younger people I know have never heard of QVC.

You are 100% correct.  I just retired and worked with a huge corporate office filled with ppl age 19-38 and believe me, they don't care about or watch QVC.  If it's not Fortnite, Game of Thrones or the latest sports game, it's not being talked about.  Smiley Happy

I no longer watch Q, but just look online. Mary Beth has always been one of my favorites. She is lovely; very poised and professional. Catch phrases don’t bother me at all, unless they are just hard-sell lines.

I wonder if they ever really listen to any playback of their presentations and actually hear all their annoying habits lol.  I've got to the point where pretty much all of them are to annoying to listen to anymore.
