Please stop with the phrases "etc". And "this is the thing".  I realize we all have our catch phrases.   Maybe she just doesn't realize how often she says them.      She's a nice lady and a good host otherwise,  more professional them some others.

She's been my #1 favorite for years.  I excuse any redundant things she may say because doggonit I like her!

**we all have friends and family that say phrases "do you know what I'm saying, at the end of the day, I'll be honest with you, etc. and it's just part of who they are.

I don't mind the catch phrases. We all have them. What bothers me is when hosts try to tell you that you can wear something "with jeans OR with a dress" when it's not true. As an example, the last time I watched Jennifer Coffey on Isaac Mizerahi, they both suggested wearing a plaid puffer dress with a cocktail dress. Ummmm... I know you want to make a sale, but NOBODY is going to buy a puffer vest to wear with a dress!

@Sooner  It's just my opinon on phrases used constantly,  that Was my point !   It's an observation after watching Mary Beth for many , many years.   I feel I have a right  to my opinon as we all do here .   I like Mary Beth and always have ,  just get tired of hearing "etc" used when it doesn't really apply to what she is saying.

@Kitty Galore But why bring it up?  All these years, she must know.  So why mention it?  Record yourself for an hour every day and then in a month see what you uh, um, say.

Maybe the issue with those who are upset by certain host behaviors watch too much and would benefit from taking a break from watching the Q or even starting up a new hobby.

@Kitty Galore I agree!  I hate it when she says "Here's the thing".  I realize they all have their catch phrases however they get annoying hearing them repeated umpteen times during a show.
