They are not young girls, they are  grown women.

@cherry, I think it is a lovely idea.

I am sure that the ladies will be touched that you thought of them.

Go for it!

The hand cream is a very nice gift. My hands are always so dry. I'm sure they will appreciate your thoughtfulness @cherry. Maybe more than you'd ever know. Thoughtfulness seems to be sorely lacking these days.

@cherry, we go to the same place every saturday for breakfast. We bring gifts to staff for different holidays etc.

The owners and their employees have been lovely to us, and even helped out when we were evacuated.

I had to chuckle about the other diners. We,too, have become friendly with the different customers.

I would be thrilled to receive some nice hand lotion.

L’ Occitane hand cream is always a great gift!! It is scented though.

@KrissyE- I can’t do scented creams of any kind. L’Occitane’s regular Shea butter hand cream is unscented. I keep a tube of it in my purse.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: I want to get our waitresses a Valentine gift

I have used the Trader Joe's rose oil hand cream and like it very much.  I agree with others who say that it's a lovely idea for a Valentine's gift and I think it's very sweet of you to think of these ladies.

If you think you'd like an unscented hand cream, I also can recommend Trader Joe's Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream.  It is made with coconut oil, hemp oil and 20% shea butter.

I also think that a waitress who is most likely washing her hands a lot during the day would appreciate a nice hand cream!

It is just a small thank you ,for their kindness to us. We don't have grandkids to buy things for, and it is sort of fun ,to be able to , once in a while

Another thought would be a single rose for each lady?

That is a great idea @QueenDanceALot but, they all work different days ,and shifts, and I need to get something ,I can just leave at the restaurant ,and they can get it ,when they come in to work..Some of them work 2 jobs , and the rose would be dead ,before they got it
