I  don't know who was doing the many sighs but I assume it was the OP doing it after each return because if it was the clerk the customer should have called the manager. Maybe that was the time to practice small talk. But when I read the post again I don't think the clerk should have asked the OP how much she was returing.

@lovescats  maybe the clerk was surprised when she saw the bag.

I doubt it was bridal because I watched her pull the items from a big white bag (not original shipping bags) most was clothing, makeup and toiletries.  She was doing each item with code --even she was getting confused.

Whatever the reason for returns her business I just was surprised at the # when the clerk asked her (even she was a little flustered bagging things individually).

🤷‍♀️

@homedecor1  I guess no other employee was there otherwise the clerk would have called for help.  The longest I've had to wait was ten minutes.

From shopping with Amazon their return pollicy has been 30 days. That's a lot of stuff for 30 days that's why I'm thinking that some belonged to other family or friends. That would certainly confuse me and I'm very organized.

Let's hope Amazon dumps her.  There was once a poster on this board who had ordered a bunch of Christmas stuff on QVC, then decided she didn't want it in January,    (about 17 worn clothing items), and was complaining that QVC sent the whole bunch back to her.  If I remember correctly she didn't get much sympathy.

Annoying, and I know people are entitled to return things.  I was making a size exchange at kohl’s (not near the holiday). The person in front of me probably had 25 return items from Amazon, AND a binder full of receipts.  I know I probably sighed.  When it was my turn (almost 30 minutes later) I did tell the rep that it would be nice for Kohl’s to have a Kohl’s customer line.  She laughed and said, we just hate these A returns.  😂

@lynnie61  do you mean that the Customer was returning items from Amazon on the Kohls Customer line?

Amazon returns are usually done in another section of the Store.

@Sage04   In our local stores, it’s in the customer service area where Kohl’s and Amazon returns are all done in the same place.  Maybe I could have done a size exchange in a checkout line.  Might have to ask next time I shop there.

@lynnie61  that could really mess things up. Ours is in a different section away from Customer Service.

@Sage04   That was maybe in October.  Kohl’s may have changed the return location since then.  I rarely return, and have not shopped much lately, so I’m not sure.  Your stores having separate locations for both Amazon and Kohl’s returns - that’s good!

@homedecor1

Most of my purchases are from amazon. I have returned very few. When I have, I call/talk with a rep, and they send me an email with a return label. I was able to use USPS or UPS with that label, no charge.

Depending on the package size, I could put I  our drive route Mailbox, or give it to our UPS driver on his next delivery. My wife orders a lot, even these danged shopping networks. So UPS is never more than a few days away.

Haven't found a vendor yet that makes my returns that painless, and free.

No way I would stand in any line that long for any business transaction. I would be outta there for another time, or another place.
