The forums were definitely revamped after 2004. I remember they really straightened out the posts count (which, of course, was destroyed a couple weeks ago). They also arbitrarily gave most of us the registration date of 2004 (about ten years off, in my case).

 

That being said, I am pretty much used to the new set-up.

 

But I want the books forum to return!
