I think we've given up on winter.

We have yet to have any really cold weather with the last six weeks being extremely mild--mostly upper 60's and 70's. Today it was 80 degrees and I saw a lot of crop pants and sandals. Lawn crews are everywhere, and the birds were chirping like it's spring when I left the house this morning in a short-sleeved blouse and no jacket or sweater.

I know it's unseasonably warm in many places right now, but I'm starting to think we may have missed winter entirely.
