I just read an article about Apollo 13 astronaut Jim Lovell selling at auction an 87-page list from his flight.
I think that's wrong; these things are...well, I don't know if they're national "treasures" but they certainly are part of our history and belong to the American people, not the highest bidder. Right now the sale is on hold, pending an investigation of who has legal title to the list, or any other NASA items that could conceivably be sold.
I hope it stays in a museum or some other form of protection as part of our history.
