@LilacTree, it's good to hear it turned out well for both you and your daughter. Should you change your mind, the offer still stands. I also have a new change purse with the same design and that still have the tags ... brand new, if you think she would enjoy that. It would make a great stocking stuffer.

I agree with both of you, @Karnerblue and @fancy pantsy. Not sure why the snippiness.   I think it's always so heartwarming to see anyone doing their best to locate something a loved one wants and surprise them with the gift.

Also, I'm so sorry you ran into this problem @LilacTree, but posting about it here is such a great reminder to all of us to look really carefully at websites before we purchase. You probably saved someone else from future troubles.   I wish you well in finding the perfect gift for your dear daughter!

Hi dooBdoo. My mistake was my daughter sent me the link which took me to the payment page and a photo of the bag. NOT using my head to check out the website first, I just filled it out and sent it. I did email her that I couldn't believe the price and that's when I started thinking it could be fraudulent. In other words, I put the cart before the horse! It was when I received their email with no facts on it, just advising that my payment had been received, that I then knew I was in trouble.

I didn't tell her about it at first, I wanted to see their response to my email (they had four email addresses on their message, I sent emails to two of them). They have send me three emails so far, all saying the same thing, except the last one said it was shipped Dec. 2.   Still no phone number though.

I wonder what I'm supposed to do if I receive the darn thing after all?

Hey (((Ford))) - Glad to hear this has all worked itself out. If you receive the bag after all, just keep it and count yourself lucky. You gave them more than enough chances to work it out with your emails.

That was one of my posts that had to be removed by QVC customer care up on the last page. I agreed with two others that there was no reason for some people to be snippy with you. You lucky woman you, you always seem to attract a few fan girls no matter the topic, lol Just keep on truckin'

Thank you Mama Mia. I will be 78 on January 17. What day is yours? I never expected to live this long, and I agree the last 20 years have just flown by. It really does seem to go faster the older one gets!! The first 30 years of my life seemed like an eternity in comparison and I had four babies in four and a half of those years (my first at 24 and my last at 28). They are the lights of my life.

May you and yours have a wonderful Christmas or whatever you celebrate as well. It really makes no difference which holiday . . . we all love December!!

It sounds like you may receive the bag if they told you it shipped on 12/3. (Although is strange, they did not send tracking info. ) It probably is a fake bag being shipped from China.

You sound like a very caring mother, only trying to give your daughter a gift she will truly enjoy. Best of luck and hope it works out for you.
