Re: I think I have rescued a Sheltie

She told me he was given to the shelter when a couple split. I can't believe they would abandon this sweet boy. He only wants for Love it seems. He must have been very confused. I think a breakup is a poor excuse too and not acceptable. I would work another job to feed them. I could never part with any of them. He is having a great time playing with one of the girls. They are inseparable. So sweet to watch them play.

Re: I think I have rescued a Sheltie

I can just imagine them running around together. Shelties are so cute. They are one of my favorite breeds - all that energy and those beautiful coats. Of course those are the very reasons I can't have one (no space, no time). That, and the fact that I have five cats and I don't think they would appreciate being herded around the house{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Google "Celtic male names". That's how I name my collies and shelties. They are of Celtic heritage so it's fitting they have the proper names. Besides, they have really cool names.

He is still doing great! A really sweet guy. His name is Chance and I have had him an entire week now. He is very, very good.

I think the sheltie rescued you a little bit too!

Re: I think I have rescued a Sheltie

He is definitely on the cute and sweet side. He is here for a reason. On Friday he is going to the groomer to get all gussied up. I can't wait to see how pretty he looks all brushed out and really cleaned up. He is still doing great, fits right in. Of course he rescued me too in some way I have not figured out yet except he makes me smile.
