I think British TV is superior to ours

I know them's fightin words.Smiley LOL However nothing in my book compares to the PBS programs on Sunday night. I also love the 2 Fat Ladies. They seem to have a  jovial side our TV just doesn't do as  well

I know many of you won't agree, but I suspect more than a handful will. Do you have a favorite British program

Doctor Who

There are alot of ones that no longer air - like Whitechapel and MI5, which I loved!!
BBC news is also top notch as well

I'm liking Poldark.

Prime Suspect, with Helen Mirren, was a good series.

I loved the 2 Fat Ladies They were great and down to earth. Some of the food they made I didn't like but I just enjoyed watching.

I read it was mutual dislike accoring to the tabloids. Clarissa had written a couple of very good books about her life. She spoke quite kindly about Jennifer and said she felt very protective of her, so who knows?  I don't put much faith in the tabloids

Is actually a Canadian show. Broadcast in the US on BBC America, it's a joint venture with BBC America and a Candian company, produced and filmed in Canada, and aired in Canada and America. It was broadcast in the UK after airing in the US and Canada. Smiley Happy It's a shame Tatiana Maslany has never been nominated for an Emmy - she's earned several in my book.
