When the ad people can't come up with something clever, entertaining and funny, their only option is to irritate for attention.

The sound tracks are enough to set me on edge on most ads.

Uh oh, looks like SAM is back.

There's one commercial I kinda like: The Mr. Clean ad that is biographical: shows him as a baby, a young boy, going into the Service. That one isn't annoying at all. I like Grumpy Cat's commercial, too.

Not only are the commercials mostly stupid and inane, but you get 10 or more in a row of them. Drives me crazy. I start to watch a movie and have to wait 10 minutes for the commercials to stop, so I end up turning it off until I can catch it on HBO or something. I Tivo most things, too. There are commercials made by the same companies for years that are NEVER funny. Jack in the Box comes to mind, and most Geico ones, also.

I don't know who they are writing these current stream of commercials for, but it's not me. They are stupid and immature...I guess like the demographic they are going for. I hate to think that these ad exec's think that the majority of people out there are idiots. (which they probably do)

The FIAT commercial drives me insane, and the current batch of Wendy's pretzel burger ads are just dumb. Never mind the prescription, female problem, and male impotence ads. SAM needs to go.

I do have to say though, the Subaru campaign with The Barkley Family is the best I've ever seen. Traveler's Insurance with the oh so cute Terrier mix breed (?) is a very close second.

I don't see any of these enough. In fact, I don't think the Subaru ad was ever shown here. I only know of it due to facebook and youtube. My sister and bil bought their Subaru in very large part due to these TV commercials.

I think there's plenty of good/cute commercials out there. But that one for ""SAM"" has GOT to go. Man I hate that commercial!
