Re: I so hope the weather is wrong!

@dancingwoman    I hope she has someone lined up to shovel.  I'm sure she'll report in.

Well, this morning's snow report for Big Sky said they were only expecting much more than a light coating this afternoon (Thurs.).  Oh well.

Here in Colorado Springs the weather report has down graded the amounts of snow we are suppose to get here. In my area of town it went down to 3"-7", previously reported at 12"+. But that could change depending on the wind and if the wind speed and direction changes just a bit then that could cause a drastic change in the amounts of snow Colorado Springs (and vicinity) gets. In other words, the weather people don't know. The local TV channels are going to extended weather reporting this weekend because the storm is so unpredictable at this point and things can change in an instant. I've made plans for 12"+ regardless of what the weather people say. My snow blower guy is on standby. But the residential roads around my neighborhood never get plowed so that could be a problem getting out if I needed to....I hope I don't need to!

Re: I so hope the weather is wrong!

My son and his family are stationed in Colorado and are right in the path of the storm too. I hope it's not as bad as they say.  And I hope it doesn't hit where I'm located.
