Re: I need your choices of 3 colors together.

Red, hot pink and bright orange!  Yikes!

Blue, yellow and lime green.

Green, purple and gold (Marti Gras!)

Magenta, royal blue and emerald green

Do the four seasons:

Blue, gray and white

Pastel blue, pink, yellow

Green, red and yellow (or red white and blue!)

Orange, brown and maroon or yellow

Re: I need your choices of 3 colors together.

On a calmer note:  And maybe something like turquoise, ivory and white?  I am not sure I've even seen one like this but I love white and cream and a blue together!

Most granny squares I've seen have been bright and make almost a movement when you see them.  I guess they are more modern now.

Sea glass colors in greens and blues would be fabulous now!!!!  Just shade from a pale green to a pale green blue, then a pale blue green!  Coral is popular too, so three shades of that would be pretty.

A pretty blue, gray, and amethyst.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

My sister made the traditional granny square blanket in the 70s - now there are so many designs and patterns. I couldn't resist posting this

Re: I need your choices of 3 colors together.

Over the course of my life I've crocheted umpteen afghans, but my favorite one was made with purple, bright yellow and raspberry pink. OMG that came out so beautiful. I wish I had taken a photo of it before I gave it away. I made it with squares with the popcorn stitch. I used to LOVE to crochet but my fingers no longer work as well as they used to.

The samples on this page are all pretty, but none of them JUMPED out at me. It's a very personal thing, don't you think?

@Sooner--  I love the image of red, bright orange, and hot pink. Those are my "happy colors." I found similar colors; just take away the green.

Browns, blues and greens are my not so happy colors. I rarely buy anything in those colors and I doubt if I own anything to wear in those colors either.

Such talented people!

Re: I need your choices of 3 colors together.

@sunala   I am not surprised to hear that these bright happy colors are favorites of yours!  Mine too!  When I was a teen my room had a section of wallpaper with big butterflies in deep pink and orange, outlined in black on a chocolate bown backgound.

Now you know how old I am!  Think of those wild flowing posters of the day and you get the picture!  LOL!!!  Everything else in the room was white!  Curtain panels were sheers in white, orange, white, hot pink, etc.
