I need a new TV now, but.......Black Friday/holiday sales coming?

I posted before about the tv in our livingroom going bad. I think it's officially gone now. I am considering buying a tv from Walmart today, as I've read some good reviews on a couple of their tv's, but I know some really good sales will be coming soon, as the Christmas season approaches. I would wait to get one, but my husband really enjoys his tv, and because he is a very hard worker, and because he is the "bread winner" in this household, I really feel like I should get one today.

Do you think I will be missing out on some really good deals by not waiting? Any suggestions? Thanks!
