Same here.. i forget sometimes and try to shorten words like i do when I text some people...you are not alone.

It's a shame to get shamed for it. lol

I'm always amazed when I DON'T edit a post.😂😂 Even with spell check, I've  sometimes written an incorrect word but it is spelled correctly, so it isn't flagged. Many times, I will think of something "important" I've left out after submitting my post, and simply "must" edit.😊

I am on a Kindle, and for some reason, it always wants to change the word "cat" to "car".

Argh!

@Mindy D     Don't feel bad......everybody does it.    I learned to type on a "manual"..........and I've used every tryping contraption ever invented since, including legal and accounting keyboards.......   And, there is NO WAY I'm gonna type on an itty-bitty phone(!!)

You're not alone. I'll type a word and my Kindle changes it.

Out becomes Put.

Get becomes Set. 

It's very annoying and embarrasses me when I don't catch it.

My Kindle auto corrects to gibberish. I reread my posts and have to laugh!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but it's a habit with me now.

Before I post anything I go up top where you see in tiny print ABC with a check.  That's a spell check on what you've written.

Click on it and you will see it checking all of your post.
