I’m watching the PGA Tour Championship Tournament in Atlanta and six people were just hit by lightning there. Fortunately, no one has died.

That was scary lightning!

They still start back playing early Sunday morning...7am my time.

They hadn’t done so at the time of the strike. The course was full of people.

Is that the one Tiger is playing in?  They must be showing a delayed feed on nbc?

They just explained they were broadcasting last years final round.  Todays Play suspended till tomorrow.

I would guess late Saturday afternoon, 15th hole, 

there was probably a little alcohol involved 

which most likely clouded judgement.

No. He didn't qualify for the tour championship. Only the top 30 in the FedEx cup standings make it to the championship. Tiger ended the season at 42nd.

Several news reports I've read said that no one was actually hit by lightning.

The lightning hit a tree on the course and those injured were nearby and were hit by flying debris from the tree.

No injuries were determined to be 'serious'.

Injured were taken to a nearby hospital, and there were no life-threatening injuries.
