Had a thought today regarding AI's use in health care diagnosing, interpreting results, etc.  No doubt will be purchased by insurance companies. They can afford it.

So Mary, aged 68.7 years is diagnosed with....you name it. Based on her age, diagnosis, family history, AI predicts you will live another 2.1 years.

Sorry, treatment will be denied as you must have an estimated 8.5 yrs minimum to live for treatment to be cost effective.

AI is already hitting the music industry.  Voices of artists are being put to new songs and distributed by cell phones not through regular music industry channels. Millions of people prefer the AI song than songs by the original artists.  Imagine all the dead singers, and new songs in their voices.  Imagine duets with singers from different time periods.  Maybe Elvis and Aretha?  Or maybe just new Aretha songs at different stages in her life - teenager, young adult, middle age, senior citizen?  New Michael Jackson songs?  New Beatles songs? How will the present artists deal with that kind of competition? How will the music industry as we know it survive?

We have got to pause and think through this.  The financial and economic implications for our whole society are going to be impacted.  Controls are needed. Over 1,000 experts can't be wrong. . .
