I so miss the Pier One store in my town.   Loved browsing there and made quite a few purchases especially their beautiful seasonal decor.    A dollar store is now located there...and not a very nice one....   

Very sad.

The way things are going, we won't have many of our favorite stores left. 

So many clothing stores for women have also gone under.

I have 2 pieces of art in my great room from Pier 1. Also have a beautiful brushed gold and glass bar cart and an emerald green chair in my sun room that I purchased from Pier 1. I still can't believe that this store is closed. I do miss it.
