This is going to be a great month for him and I couldn't be happier.

Today he is going to take delivery on a brand new, British racing green, Mini Cooper! He won't be able to come over and show it off to us in person, he's going to take pictures as soon as he picks it up.

Almost from the time he learned to drive--12years ago--he's dreamed of owning one.

We've discussed, endlessly over the years, whether to buy new or used. Of course with a one or two year old car, you save a tremendous amount of money. When he asked for my opinion, I told him that I think everyone should have at least one new car in their lifetime. And right now he's got a good, secure job that pays very well, and can afford to; so when opportunity pounds on your door and screams your name, you should answer.

So it's a new car for him and I'm so darned happy for him, I can hardly stand it. He's a real good young man and has really paid his dues. I'm so glad to see him reap some of the rewards of his hard work. He really deserves it.
