It's freezing so I'm sitting here in a thermal top and knit jersey pants and shearling slippers. The power went off for about an hour earlier due to wind storms. I've done two loads of laundry. The cats had their lunch and the kittens are taking a nap. I suppose I could go wash those few dishes in the sink but I don't feel like it. All I have left recorded is last weeks Supernatural episode lol.

You have power, heat, a HOME....food in the fridge, pets.....and you are complaining about ANYTHING?  Sounds like you should be counting your blessings, not telling us how bored or cold you are. There are those with so much less.....

Someone needs a mug of hot soup and a good book to read.    Some people complain about the dumbest things.  Oh well.

Wow what a couple of cranks. I wasn't complaining per se, just stating a fact and making conversation. Feel free to not post in my thread if it bothers you so much.

It was perfectly clear to pretty much everyone that @jaxs mom wasn't complaining.

I'm in Ohio, and the cold hasn't arrived here yet (it's over 60 degrees).  I know it's on it's way, due to arrive by this weekend.  We're possibly going to get our first snow (lake effect)......eeeeeek!  I hate the cold (I'm talking anything below 70 degrees here).  I'm savoring these last couple days of warmth!

P.S.   I do have a cat who occasionally likes to cuddle (he's only 6-1/2 months), and his little body is as warm as a toaster oven!!!

Ha.  I'm in Ohio too and if you think anything below 70 is cold, you are living in the wrong state.  LOL  J/K

LOL I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and 60' is cold!

Re: I'm home bored and cold.

Hopefully things are back to normal for you. We had our first outage yesterday as well. The first of several I believe. Pretty sure it was coming, I ensured that my kindle was fully charged as well as the cell phone. It seems as though we lose power a lot where we are. The best investment we ever made was a little generator we purchased from Costco a few years ago. I texted the neighbors around us that appeared to be in the dark to see if anyone needed anything. They were okay and grateful that we checked on them.

OP, Sounds heavenly to me!  What's better than cuddling up with your animals and a warm blanket with a good book?

Neither have I.    There is so much to do, learn and experience on this planet that I have trouble understanding other peoples' "boredom".
