It's freezing so I'm sitting here in a thermal top and knit jersey pants and shearling slippers. The power went off for about an hour earlier due to wind storms. I've done two loads of laundry. The cats had their lunch and the kittens are taking a nap. I suppose I could go wash those few dishes in the sink but I don't feel like it. All I have left recorded is last weeks Supernatural episode lol.
ho hum...

Warm hugs, @jaxs mom
You can't convince the cats to snuggle with you? Oh, well. I know how cats are!
It sounds as if the power is back, so that's something. (Unless I misread your post.) In any event, I hope you get a lot of replies so you can keep busy reading.
I love Supernatural. I just discovered it a few months ago and am watching all the seasons in order, on DVD.

Me too rainy and cold outside, some big windy snowstorm on it's way. It is the 50mph winds that are predicted that bother me most.I have water jugs and the wash machine filled up in case power goes out. Made a pot of turkey veggie soup and have it in one of the stainless steel thermos bowls.

I'm glad you got your power back on. Have a nice meal, read, listen to music, play with your little ones. We have to try and find good in there somewhere. As long as I'm warm, in cold weather, I'm a pretty happy camper. Hope since you wrote this you feel better.

I guess the kittens are up from their nap because Freyja just came to visit me and is purring on my desk.

oh the soup sounds yummy. I have a ton of leftover chicken from Sunday so I'm not really cooking tonight. My husband had to go out of town for the day on business but should be back in a few hours. I hope your power stays on in the wind. I actually thought we had pretty good response time getting ours back on considering that I'm in a dinky little town.

Bummer. It's cloudy here but warm. We are supposed to get high winds starting tomorrow and continuing through Thursday but our temps are supposed to be nice.

I'm in Ohio, and the cold hasn't arrived here yet (it's over 60 degrees). I know it's on it's way, due to arrive by this weekend. We're possibly going to get our first snow (lake effect)......eeeeeek! I hate the cold (I'm talking anything below 70 degrees here). I'm savoring these last couple days of warmth!
P.S. I do have a cat who occasionally likes to cuddle (he's only 6-1/2 months), and his little body is as warm as a toaster oven!!!

We got 3" of snow last night, but this rain and wind has it about knocked down.
My dh is in town too about 50 miles from home,I hope he is not in the path of the storm.
Times like this I think a cell phone would be nice to own.

Those of us at work dealing with unreasonable people (hence my QVC break for a moment of sanity) would switch places with your cold and boredom anytime!
