Re: I'm glad Delivery drivers have to take a picture of the delivery !

[ Edited ]

Amazon always shows a picture without fail.  One time I got 3 separate packages from Amazon.  One by one, the driver took a picture for each pakage by itself!  UPS usually tells me where they left the package and I always find it.  USPS package usually arrives with the mail.  Either on the porch or mail box.  When I get the package by itself (on Sunday)USPS tells mer where it is. The only truble I've ever had with USPS is sometimes when they do the change over from UPS to USPS, it gets thrown on the wrong truck and the package heads to New York, etc.  One time it went to Florida, then took a tour of the U.S. before it came to me.

I agree abou FedEx.  Overall the worst of all.  At least in my experience.  UPs is the most reliable one. I still can't over the fact that UPS isn't allowed to make left turns!

Re: I'm glad Delivery drivers have to take a picture of the delivery !

Anazon's usually pretty good here. I have no idea what the heck they were doing on Friday. I had an order coming that was due to arrive between 1:15 and 3:15. At one o'clock the van showed up on the package tracking and said it was six stops away. I kept checking the map and saw the van make about ten stops and I was still six away. After about an hour, it switched to saying I was five stops away. The van made still more stops and it stayed at five stops away. Then it switched to the ominous, "The driver has more stops to make" message which is never good. Then about an hour later, it popped up that I was three stops away. After a bunch more stops and about another hour, it switched back to "The driver has more stops to make" messaging again. Then despite never getting here, I got a message that the delivery failed and they would try again Monday.

Okay. I don't know what the heck was going on, but whatever. Hopefully, the package shows up Monday. I don't typically have issues with Amazon, but that was a mess.

Yes, like the photo being taken. Had an email that my Amazon ordered was delivered. Just looked at the headline, because there's usually no problem. Went to the front door. No package. I thought it may be in the mailbox, but Amazon wouldn't put it in there.  So checked the full email and photo showed it was delivered to my neighbor. No biggie.  Photo was really helpful.

Drivers have told me that what you saw depicted on the tracking sometimes happens when they are missing a box but have instructions for delivery. It also occurs if the driver goes out of delivery order for some reason but doesn't note it in the system.
