It started innocently enough when I started to eat  my lunch outside a month ago  and shared my PB&J with a squirrel and then a few peanuts. Didn't take long for a few Thrashers, Cardinals, Blue Jays and a Cat Bird to figure out that I'm a easy mark.

Now I have a few more squirrels and all of these birds hanging out on or near our deck, sitting on the window sills looking for me or waiting for me to come outside. Some even have a certain time they visit each day. I had to laugh when a mama thrasher pushed her baby toward the back door when I went to empty the garbage into the toter this morning.

And now I'm pet sitting another cat,so 2 of them do this!  What can be the reason for this?

The title scared me, as it brought back bad memory of a time when I was a young single working girl and was followed by a creepy guy. My older brother scared him off. I guess you are not in any real danger. (phew)

Only by two pups! I have bookends when I eat breakfast. They know there will be a bit of bacon for each of them before I'm finished. As for the rest of the meals? They know better and keep their distance. But bacon? Can't resist-

I get black birds and chickadees in my backyard that must say when they see me -- all hail, the food giver, she's putting out more seeds and water for us! Woman LOL

Yes, I let each of them have a bit of bacon in the morning. Maybe about the size of my thumbnail. It's the only human treat they get and honestly they shouldn't have that. But at their ages I find myself unable to resist those big brown eyes in the morning. No problem resisting them the rest of the day though-
