Great news!! Lot's of good luck to you....make sure you do your P/T with and w/o the therapist....they will probably give you exercises to do on your own.
My sister had her second hip replacement a year ago this past September and is still doing great.
She had the surgery in the AM right around Labor Day....was hope that same afternoon....did her P/T and drove herself to a wedding on 9/28 and walked around all night with the assistance of a cane.
I hope your recovery is as seamless as hers was.

Good for you! As long as you feel up to it...keep on challenging yourself. I've had this surgery too, and I surprised everyone by getting into better shape than I had been in before the surgery.
I'm not really sure why they were surprised...I was optimistic that I'd do well.
You'll be much better than you were before.
